Using cultural mythology and ritual preparation, Britta challenges hidden preconceptions and helps clients and audiences cultivate new ways to approach life’s most important transitions. An avid student as well as teacher, Britta has attended workshops and trainings with many birth experts such as Ina May Gaskin, Dr. Michel Odent, Phyllis Klaus, Dr. Sarah Buckley, Robbie Davis-Floyd, and many others. Additionally, she has practiced yoga since the early ‘90’s and began her professional career as the general manager of the world-famous Yoga Works in Santa Monica. Always hungry to deepen her own wisdom, Britta has studied with thought-leaders from varied disciplines including: author Dr. Clarissa Pinkola Estes (Women Who Run With the Wolves); relationship and polarity experts David Deida, Sofia Diaz, and Michaela Boehm; ritual specialist Dr. Ronald Grimes; Tina Stromsted, Meg Wilbur, and Dorothy Anderson of the Marion Woodman Foundation; Tibetan Buddhist teacher Tsoknyi Rinpoche; Jack Zimmerman and others at the Ojai Foundation council program; Solution-Focused Brief Therapy expert Teri Pichot; and numerous experts in the field of yoga.
